Carlos is a freelance writer, farmer, photographer, and gallows humorist. His diverse career, which includes aviation, law enforcement, intelligence, government contracting, public health, and academia, has taken Carlos from the West Coast to the West Bank, the Southwest United States to Southwest Asia, and a few places that don’t have names.
Home base is now a farm in central Tennessee where Carlos raises hair sheep and pasture pigs (among many other livestock) and consults in his fields of expertise when not on his tractor, in a deer blind, or roaming the hills and hollows. Carlos considers himself an Adopted Son of the South and eagerly awaits the fatwa.
His last words will most likely be, “Y’all watch this.”
